Another pic that has been carelessly kept , this has been lying around me for decades..its traveled with me from Hubli  to wherever i took it and dumped it...I made this pic when i was just 11 yrs old.... i wanted to learn oil paining on canvas...so i decided to go to someone who will teach me.

The teacher looked at me and said you should start with painting some flowers then take on object painting.  I looked up at her and did not like her one bit.  I told her i can paint anything i only want to learn a few things i dont know about oil painting.. i sounded like one arrogant child...so she looked at me and asked where do you want to start.. i showed her this pic made by a french artist -Renoir..and said i want to paint that lady and the dog...she gave a look that i must be off my rocker or somthin...i looked up and said i know how to sketch by using a grid... i will sketch it, you just need to guide me to paint can you help me please.??.. she hesitated for a long time and said she will charge me more for doing this.. i said ok .. and we set off... in two weeks - every day for 1 1/2 hours..we worked on it..we finished it , she taught me many things while i sketched, and painted my pic.. we became friends too... we chatted and i also helped her with other children when they came while i was there .. mostly i was enjoying myself.. and here she is holding her dog and looking up at it since then....
